RESEARCHERS

Studying human-wildlife interactions in my PhD, focusing on North American mesopredators. Human-wildlife interaction is also part of my job as research coordinator at Zoo de Granby.

PhD working title: Management and cognition of mammal mesopredators interacting with humans in protected areas. Proposed chapters: Mitigation of human-wildlife conflicts involving common North American mesopredators: Current state of knowledge; Smart ones get in trouble? Problem-solving in mesopredators in conflict with humans in protected areas; Learning ability in a nuisance species; A new mitigation measure for raccoon based on cognitive processes.
